because the people that review games dont want to be bothered with games like hannah montana, high school musical, Wii play, Wii Sports type of casual games.
just like the one guy from EA, casual gamers dont care about review scores, so why should game makers bother worrying about em.
im not liking this trend...its why i dont play PC games, i dont like installing games, i dont mind load times, i wish they would be optional.
Wow, CoD4 on top again...im guessing these 2 will be fighting for most use for a while.
its more like gen before last.
wow im suprised DMC4 sold so well on the 360...dont big exclusives sell round that the first week there?
$179.99....must be over
Square Enix owns your character and all your gil, i used to play it...case closed...tough luck for him....you cant sell what you dont own (even though people do), therefore it aint worth nothing.
if i get this game its for the 360...idc about load times...but 5 gbs here 5 gb for oblivion and various other games taking up space on my PS3 HDD, i gotta save my space for exclusives.
They pretty much have to announce those soon... they released most of their big games a few month ago, and exclusivewise they dont have much coming that are official.
The Casual gamers will get their game this year most likely... the ultimate killer app... Wii Sports 2!!!!
oops should be in the open section :P
heh..."tacked on" multiplayer in a battlefield game... i think it's the other way around.
i cannot wait for this game ahhhhh its so far away!!!
played it yesterday on my PS3...was terrible
everyone seemed to like this demo a lot and thought it was gonna be awesome from what i read on forums... i was one of the people who saw it for what it was... a low 7 calibur game.
The Orange Box is a remake so that might be why it lost to Bioshock... But CoD4 is mainly multiplayer as mentioned, which is expierence based, and not content based... its what i call a Favorite Vs Best... Best is strictly content, where favorite is based off of expierence like remembering the good times with friends and such, stuff not meant to be apart of the game (not put in by the Devs)...its hard to explain, hopefully yall get what im saying
dangit...battlefield bad company delayed... im beginning to think this is going to be an Alan Wake...we want it but it's always a year away at least.
360 only sells well in the US... PS3 sells mediocre in all countries...
PS3 sold like 2.8 mill in the US, when the 360 prolly sold well over 6... PS3 is geared towards more markets so it sells more...not to mention ~ 8 million people already owned 360s before the PS3 even came out, so the 360s market was smaller relative to people looking at game consoles.
yea...the future is DD...but the future is still 10 to 15 years away, more then enough for a new format...and there are so many reasons why (i dont wanna list them) DD wont make it mainstream anytime soon for movies or games, etc.
my assessment as well
and they were saying how with more systems it can have a lower tie ratio but more software sold which is true, but a higher tie ratio is better because there is much more potential in that market, those customers are more actively buying games...not to mention id like to see those numbers minus 1st party sales for each system.
people are always ready, like vultures to blame the unsuspecting... but FOX is turning Liberal... pointing fingers and blaming everyone for everything and not doing anything about it, yet taking credit when something good happens.
